Should I do #MWE?
I just learned about MWE this week, first from this tweet from Michele Catalano.

For those who may not know about it, MWE stands for Music Writer Exercise. For each day in February, participants listen to an album they’ve never heard before and then write a tweet-length review of it. It’s the brainchild of music writer Gary Suarez, and he provides a more detailed explanation of MWE here.
I am really tempted to do this, even though February is already looking like a packed month. I’ve already booked three awesome guests for YMAAA episodes, though I’ll be taking the week of Feb. 12 off, and my fantasy baseball work for The Athletic will be ramping up.
There is definitely no shortage of albums I could pick out for this exercise — albums I have wanted to check out, but have never gotten around to and have yet to be chosen by YMAAA guests. If I do this, though, I want your help. Please suggest some albums I should listen to and write about, either in the comments below or with a reply via email. In addition to posting my mini-reviews on Twitter (or wherever Gary asks us to post them), I’ll publish them here.
Even if I decide not to do all 28 days, at a minimum, I will write about as many albums as I can in this space.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
